We are incredibly proud of Skipper Foundation this half term! We have made an amazing start to our Phonics journey and we are becoming super whizzy with our numbers up to 4. Its been wonderful to see how much progress everyone is making in different areas of their learning.
This week we have become scientists by investigating what happens when we mix together some potion ingredients! If you would like to have a go at home the recipe is here…
Hubble bubble potions!
Half fill a cup with white vinegar
Add a few drops of food colouring
Squeeze in some washing up liquid
Mix together
Add a teaspoon of baking powder/ Bicarbonate of soda
Watch your potion ooze with magic!
Please keep revising all the phonemes we have taught so far and carry out the activities sent home at the Stay and play session. These will really help your child with their phonics knowledge and support them in becoming incredible readers.
