After a busy week following our Christmas performance we’ve enjoyed our Busy Bee time where we get to independently choose our activities. We’ve enjoyed some Christmas crafts, independent writing of CVC words, making salt dough decorations, practising letter formation on the iPads, dressing up and so much more!
On Wednesday we made party hats to wear to lunch!
We had a special visitor…..
No reading books are sent out over the holidays. However, we have been looking at this in class and the children should be fairly familiar with the website. This is a free interactive website which will help to support and consolidate their phonics knowledge.
Children should be able to access 1 – 5 numbered sessions as this covers the phonics knowledge taught so far. Alternatively, you could use your child’s Letters and Sounds booklet to support their consolidation.
