On Thursday we had an early sprinkle of Christmas magic….SNOW…ALL DAY!!

The children have been super interested in the snow. We’ve had some great questions generated from watching and exploring the snow…

Where does it go?

Sometimes it’s big and then small..why?

Why can’t I see it on the floor?

How did it get so cold?

When can I make a snowman?

Did Santa send it?

Today (Friday) the children have been super excited to see our classroom oozing with Christmas cheer. We have also visited the Secret shop – we would like to thank the PTA for all their hard work to make this magical event happen.

This week in Phonics we have continued to learn new tricky words and consolidated previously taught phonemes and digraphs. Please continue to practise all the phonemes and digraphs we have covered alongside the tricky words.

Thank you to everyone who has brought in their Nativity costume so far, please make sure these are all in school by Monday 4th December 2023 this will allow the children to do a dress rehearsal in their costume. Any issues/questions please come and see us, we do have a selection of costumes in school that can be borrowed.

Dates for your diary…
